Renato Bastos joined Strohm in December 2018 as VP Brazil.
Renato has a strong background in the SURF market in installation of flexible pipe, having worked for Acergy (now Subsea 7) as Ship Operations Manager and Technical Director, and in various other senior roles in the industry. With his experience he is well positioned to lead the development and qualification work of the TCP Riser, and develop the Brazilian market which is a strategic market for Strohm.
Renato is married, with one son. Travelling with family is what he enjoys the most, especially when it allows combining with nautical activities such as stand up paddling and diving with his son.
