TCP flowline for PRIO offshore Brazil

In 2025, Strohm was awarded a contract to supply a new Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP)  gas lift flowline for a project offshore Brazil. The project involves the delivery of a 12 km TCP system, designed for deepwater application at a water depth of approximately 1670 m, with installation scheduled for 2026.

Under this contract, Strohm will provide a 4 inch inner diameter TCP flowline with a design pressure of 207 bar, engineered to meet the demanding requirements of deepwater gas lift operations, offering a reliable solution for subsea production support.

The TCP flowline combines non-corrosive properties with a lightweight and flexible design, enabling efficient transportation and installation over long distances. Its spoolable nature allows for streamlined offshore deployment, while minimising installation time and overall project complexity.
