Gas injection Jumper in West Africa

In 2024, Strohm was awarded a contract for the supply of a Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP) jumper for a gas injection project offshore West Africa. The project involves the delivery of a 360 m TCP system with a 5.2” internal diameter, designed for installation at a water depth of approximately 1200 m.

This project marks the largest transport and installation pallet supplied to date by Strohm, featuring vertical client connectors to meet specific installation requirements. The TCP jumper was delivered as a complete system, optimised for offshore deployment and installation.

Strohm’s TCP technology provides a lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and high-performance alternative to traditional jumpers and flowlines. This reduces the installation time and lowers the project’s carbon footprint, while ensuring reliable long-term performance in demanding subsea environments.
