Client quote, October 2017
We choose the TCP over competing technologies based on the following key benefits:

  • The TCP is flexible, can be installed by subsea pallet and with that provide a significant reduction in total installed cost
  • The TCP is a non-conducting pipe
  • The delivery time was quick and fitted in a challenging schedule; the fact that the pipe was manufactured on stock de-risked our assessment on meeting delivery time

Key system characteristics

  • De-risking project schedule
  • Manufactured in advance, terminated prior to installation on site
  • Significantly more tolerance in length than rigid pipe
  • Can be deployed using subsea pallet
  • No metrology required, faster first oil

Specifications

  • Inner diameter: 2"
  • Pressure rating: 345 bar
  • Water depth: 94 m
  • Temperature: -20 °C to 70 °C
  • Length: 45 m

Lowest total installed cost

  • Reduced fabrication cost
