Another TCP order successfully FAT’d and ready for delivery to the Client

25 March 2021

We’ve successfully completed a 10 km TCP Flowline order for a major operator, which will be collected and shipped to West Africa in the coming weeks. The project had Strohm deliver 10 km, 7.1 inch ID, 160 bar design pressure TCP Flowline for a new water injection line to tie-in a new field to existing infrastructure. This is the second TCP order delivered to this client, for which TCP has proved to offer significant benefits to the operator’s pipeline replacement projects, particularly for water injection lines which often suffer from corrosion. In addition, TCP also allows clients to reduce the own C02 emissions associated to their pipeline infrastructure.

The project was completed in Strohm’s IJmuiden facility in the Netherlands. As planned, the predictability and robustness of the TCP design allowed for quick, full continuous Factory Acceptance Testing with great results, well within the acceptance limits provided by our client and standard.
