In the energy industry, pipeline integrity and reliability is of utmost importance. Alongside increased maintenance and replacement costs, offshore pipeline projects demand substantial upfront investment. When corrosion leads to production losses or incidents, the operational, financial, and environmental consequences can be severe.
Strohm has the longest track record in the industry for thermoplastic composite pipe (TCP), consisting of over a decade of performance data and more than 120 delivered pipeline systems with zero recorded failures .
Thermoplastic composite pipe (TCP) products have always been designed with reliability at the forefront, and we are now taking this one step further with the introduction of a 7-year global warranty across our full product range for permanent use*.
Offshore operators and asset owners are under increasing pressure to optimize the total cost of ownership while maintaining the highest safety and performance standards. As the offshore industry continues to evolve, we remain focused on delivering solutions that combine engineering excellence, durability, and long-term value.
Our products are designed, tested, and proven to withstand the challenges of offshore operations and we are ready to back that performance with tangible assurance. For our customers, this means greater predictability in lifecycle costs; reduced risk when specifying equipment for long-term projects; and added confidence during procurement and project planning.
At Strohm, we see ourselves as not just a supplier, but a long-term partner.
Proven durability
With proven durability at its core, Strohm's TCP has the longest track record in the industry, backed by more than a decade of real-world field performance and zero documented failures on its installed base, as well as zero failures on any of its factory acceptance tests ever conducted. Designed for up to a 40-year service life, it delivers long-term reliability with no associated maintenance costs, while still allowing for ongoing pipeline integrity inspection to support effective asset management and assurance.
Installation assurance
TCP is easy to install using a horizontal or vertical lay method, and smaller vessels, including vessels of opportunity. The installation methodology has been reviewed by Strohm's engineers, and our experienced technicians will be on-site to witness the pipeline's deployment and provide advice during installation.
Operators want predictability, low risk, ease of installation and long-term performance. When the stakes are high, reliability shouldn't be a gamble
