About the job

As Test Engineer you will be part of the team that is developing and qualifying new products and improvements across the entire Strohm portfolio. Specifically, you will support activities for definition, execution, and following-up of qualification tests, ensuring that all tests are performed within time and budget and in accordance to Strohm’s strict quality standards.

Main responsibilities

Support Senior Test Engineer in activities related to qualification tests

Technical documentation assessment (international standards, external requirements from client or IVA)

Perform analyses to define test loadings

Verify test loadings against product failure modes

Participate on qualification test protocols definition

Interface with test houses

Analyze and interpret test results from test houses

Test witnessing on site

Support to end-fittings & ancillaries design team

Skills and experience

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

More than 5 years of experience in structural/mechanical testing, preferable for subsea pipelines.

General understanding of end-fitting and ancillaries design will be advantageous.

General understanding of composite materials will be advantageous.

Experience in FE modelling will be advantageous.

Good command of the English language (written & spoken) is essential.
